Champions League roundup – Barcelona smash Bayern

The UEFA Champions League continued entertaining with 9 splendid matches on the second leg of games in Match Day 3.

Barcelona thrashed Bayern Munich by four goals to one in their encounter at the Nou Camp yesterday with Raphina scoring a hat trick. Harry Kane pulled one back for Bayern Munich who are now with only three points from two games.

Manchester City and Liverpool also saw off their opposition with the Sky Blues demolishing Sparta Prague to the tune of 5 goals to nil. Erling Halland scored a brace whilst Liverpool beat RB Leipzig by a goal to nil scored by Darwin Nunez.

In other Champions League matches, Inter beat Young Boys with a strike by Marcus Thuram deep in injury time whilst Lille beat Atletico Madrid by 3 goals to one to continue their splendid campaign.

Feyenoord also sprang a surprise 2-0 victory against Benfica in Lisbon whilst Atalanta and Celtic fired blanks in a 0-0 draw. Brest and Bayern Leverkusen also shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw whilst Dinamo Zagreb beat RB Salzburg 2-0 in Austria.
