Opposition Leader Bernard Grech denies he approved any changes to Local Plans but no comment on Villa Rosa development proposal

Opposition Leader and Leader of the Partit Nazzjonalista, Bernard Grech denied he agreed to any changes to the Local Plans. He also said that the Nationalist Party is against changing the Local Plans if these changes harm the environment or residents.

The Labour government is amending the Local Plans to accommodate a development proposal at Villa Rosa in Paceville by the notorious construction developer, Anthony Camilleri (Tal-Franciz). Previously, Nationalist Party Leader was evasive when asked about this decision. He has not yet made any comment on the Villa Rosa development proposal.

Anton Camilleri is known to be a financial donor to both major political parties.
