At approximately 1:30 p.m. today, Friday, authorities responded to a traffic accident on Vjal Santa Lucija in Paola.
Initial reports indicate that a Yamaha motorcycle, driven by a 47-year-old Kalkara resident, collided with a Citroen Jumper driven by a 27-year-old man from Qormi.
Emergency medical teams promptly assisted the motorcyclist, who was transported to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was confirmed to have sustained serious injuries.
Police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
