Today in court, the case against Josette Vella Schembri continued, with payment details of her company, 3 Cities Design, under scrutiny.
Adrian Hillman purchased up to €40,000 in furniture from her company with the Police arguing that the money were part of the underhanded payments Adrian Hillman received from the purchase of printing machines by Progress Press from Keith Schembri. Keith Schembri and Adrian Hillman are accused of having washed and recycled money via each other that was sourced from the purchase of printing equipment by Progress Press.
Adrian Hillman and Keith Schembri are being accused of having defrauded Progress Press over its purchase of printing equipment while Josette Vella Schembri is being accused of having laundered money for her ex0husband Keith Schembri. Her defense lawyers are Edward Gatt and Mark Vassallo.
The case continues in Court.
