On Friday, 1st November, Archbishop Charles Scicluna will celebrate a special Mass to mark the Feast of All Saints. The service, set to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at the Archbishop’s Curia in Floriana, will be broadcast live on TVM and on the church’s socials, allowing the faithful to join in prayer from home.
The following day, Saturday, 2nd November, Archbishop Scicluna will preside over a Mass in remembrance of the faithful departed. This solemn ceremony, also beginning at 9:30 a.m., will be held in the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows at Addolorata Cemetery. This service, too, will be broadcast live on TVM and socials.
The Archbishop will also lead a Mass on Tuesday, 5th November, at 6:00 p.m., dedicated to honouring priests and religious figures who passed away in the last year. Held annually on the first Tuesday of November, this service commemorates clergy who devoted their lives to faith and service. The liturgy will include a reading of names of priests and nuns who entered eternal life over the past year.
Christians are encouraged to participate in these services, either in person or via broadcast, to offer prayers for loved ones and for all souls of the faithful departed. These observances offer a time for communal prayer and reflection on the enduring legacy of those who served and the memory of all who have passed.
