Facing off against 11 top-tier countries, Malta emerged as a formidable competitor, led by Head Coach Nataliya Berehova, who continues to elevate Maltese gymnastics on the world stage.
The highlight of the event was Sophie St John’s outstanding performance on the beam, where she clinched a historic bronze medal. She came close to securing a second medal on the floor, capturing the admiration of both the judges and the audience with her skill and dedication–a milestone achievement for Maltese gymnastics.
Lyana Curmi Inguanez also represented Malta with remarkable elegance and composure, impressing judges with her refined technique. Her performance drew praise from coaches across different nations, further underscoring the rising potential of Maltese gymnastics.
