In a remarkable achievement, Fabio Spiteri, despite hailing from one of the world’s smallest islands has secured a spot among the top 10 in the global ultra triathlon rankings.
Clinching 7th place, Spiteri rose to this elite position after just two ultra triathlon races, competing alongside some of the sport’s most formidable figures, including world record holders.
Proudly announced on his Facebook profile Spiteri wrote, “It rarely occurs that an athlete from one of the smallest islands in the world ends up top 10 in the WORLD RANKING. Proud to have made it in 7th place from my 2 races in ULTRA triathlon with some of the fittest guys on the planet!”
