On Wednesday morning, around 8:30 am, police were alerted to an emergency situation on Triq San Franġisk in San Ġwann. Responding quickly to the scene, officers discovered that a man, whose identity remains unknown, had sustained serious injuries after falling approximately four stories from a residential balcony.
A medical team was promptly dispatched, and the injured man was transported to Mater Dei Hospital for immediate treatment. Despite medical efforts, the man today, Friday, succumbed to his injuries.
Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici launched a magisterial inquiry, while police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
