The 360Sports Malta Premier published the fixtures for the forthcoming Top 6 and Bottom 6 groupings as Match Days 12-15 until the end of the year. Additionally, the league also provided some clarity on how the placements for each phase are calculated.

Next phases of the 360Sports Malta Premier

The League Phase of the Closing Round kicks off in early 2025, with all teams starting fresh at zero points and competing in an 11-match schedule, mirroring the current Opening Round’s League Phase format.

Key guidelines from the competition rules outline how ties will be resolved if teams finish on equal points, ensuring a fair placement process. These criteria, applied sequentially, are as follows:

Points in Direct Encounters: The team with the most points in direct matchups ranks higher.
Goal Difference in Direct Encounters: If points are tied, the team with the better goal difference in these encounters ranks higher.
Goals Scored in Direct Encounters: If goal difference is also tied, the team with the most goals scored in the direct matchups ranks higher.
Overall Goal Difference: If still tied, overall goal difference across the League or Section is considered.
Overall Goals Scored: If goal difference remains tied, the team with the most goals scored across the League or Section ranks higher.
Drawing of Lots: If all previous criteria are equal, a random draw will decide the placement.

Opening Round: Top Six & Bottom Six (Nov/Dec 2024)
