A 46-year-old man from Mellieħa was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Tuesday morning at around 9:30 am on Triq San Pawl tal-Qliegħa in Mosta.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident involved a collision between a Toyota Hilux, driven by a 43-year-old man from Mġarr, and a Piaggio motorcycle ridden by the victim.
The motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital via ambulance for further treatment and was later certified to have sustained serious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
