The Farsons Group is to restructure all of its food business activities and food subsidiaries including Quintano Foods Limited and Food Chain Limited from Simonds Farsons Cisk and put them into one single entity listed publicly on the stock exchange. Quintano Foods is Farsons’ food importer and distributor while Food Chain Limited is the company that owns the Burger King and KFC franchises in Malta.
Shareholders of Simonds Farsons Cisk PLC (SFC) will be allocated their shares when the new spin-off is launched and the target date for the listing is set for the second half of 2025.
Despite rising revenues and a growing business the stock price of Simonds Farsons Cisk has been taking a beating and is down as much as 50% from its 2019 highs.
UPDATED: The chart of the MSE shows the incorrect reading of โฌ12.6 for the 19th October 2019. This reading is incorrect because it doesn’t factor in a stock distribution in 2022. The equivalent price of the stock would have been โฌ10.6 and therefore the stock is down around 36% from its highs.
