At least 2692 women reported that they were victims of domestic violence or made use of related services last year

Statistics released by the National statistics Office show that up to 2692 women filed a report or made use a service about domestic violence in 2023. Around 800 males also filed domestic violence reports or used related social services. Most of the women filing reports were aged between 30 and 49, while women under the age of 30 are the most active in seeking help from shelters compared to other age groups.
