Anton Refalo

Some Labour MPs hone in on Anton Refalo as the Labour Parliamentary Group’s PN leaker: he’s also close to Joseph Muscat

A group of Labour MPs suspect that the person leaking the information to Opposition MP Alex Borg is Anton Refalo which would make sense considering that Prime Minister Robert Abela wants Justyne Caruana to potentially contest the next general elections with the Labour Party. However, Anton Refalo was not present at the Labour Party’s Parliamentary group meeting last Thursday.

My sources also informed me that Minister for Agriculture Anton Refalo doesn’t seem to be all that happy that Prime Minister Robert Abela forced him to return the historical road-marker which he stole back to Heritage Malta. Anton Refalo is also making money from Delsk’s and Joseph Muscat’s foreign-residency fraud, which would mean that Anton Refalo is also in contact with Joseph Muscat (surely he asked Joseph Muscat why the Chinese residents renting his apartments aren’t actually living there).

It also makes sense that the Prime Minister would want to replace the scandal-ridden Anton Refalo in Gozo with another candidate, but Justyne Caruana as a replacement would defeat the original purpose of replacing Anton Refalo. Even if tactically playing Anton Refalo and Justyne Caruana would make sense to devour Joseph Muscat’s crew, all of this is beyond cynical. Both of them have a criminal history whilst serving as Ministers.

  1. Try to imagine this: The soon-to-be leader Shadow Minister Alex Borg (who also wants to be the new PN leader) in business with a PL Minister.

Its a known secret that the two families have close connections and deal in property business together. I suggest you do some research Mark.

  2. […] Agriculture Minister Anton Rerfalo is in cahoots with Opposition MP Alex Borg for personal and opportunistic reasons, and mainly to get back at the Prime Minister due to an original grudge pertaining to the fact that Robert Abela denied him the Ministry of Gozo to a new emerging political heavyweight that could further eat away at his political influence in Gozo. This was after having been denied the Gozo Ministry by then Premier Joseph Muscat in 2017, compounding even more  his frustrations over his fading authority in his village-district. […]
