Up to 20 people killed by Israeli airstrike on a school sheltering woman and children in Khan Younis, Gaza

Up to 20 people have been killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted Ahmad bin Abdul Aziz School in Khan Younis. The school was sheltering women and children and was hit during the night whilst people were sleeping inside. Footage of the scene after the attacks shows bodies burnt and and under the rubble. Another school in Khan Younis that is run UNRWA was also hit by an Israeli airstrike.

Other airstrikes were reported across Gaza with more people being recorded killed including in Rafah and Nuseirat camp. Israeli forces also kept demolishing empty buildings in Jabaila and the north of Gaza as part of their plan to expel civilians and permanently occupy the north of Gaza.

A cameraman working for Al-Jazeera was also killed by an Israeli strike. Ahmed Al-Louh was killed along with two other Palestinian journalists on a strike against the Palestinian Civil Defence in the Nuseirat camp. Israel accused him of being a terrorist but the only evidence it has presented for these accusations are Facebook likes and shares. Since the start of the war on Gaza, Israel has killed more than 100 journalists and media workers.
