A baby in the Al-Mawasi camp in Gaza has died of hypothermia with extreme cold conditions. This is the sixth baby to die in Gaza of hypothermia in two weeks. The Al-Mawasi camp site is located on the coast of Gaza outside of Khan Younis and is currently flooded by sea and rain water.
Winter across Israel and Palestine has brought tough weather conditions with an Israeli man in the city of Hadera also dying of hypothermia yesterday. Many Palestinians in Gaza are living in tents with no heating and basic infrastructure.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his previous Defense Minister Yoav Gallant have an arrest warrant against them by the International Criminal Court and they are being accused of systematically causing a humanitarian crisis in Gaza among other charges.
