Balzan FC announce the appointment of Daryl Willard as Head Coach of the first team and Technical Director of the Balzan Academy. With his expertise, the club aims to strengthen its performance both on the pitch and within its academy structure.
The club states that it is equally delighted to welcome Bojan Kaljevic as Assistant Head Coach for the first team and the Under-21 team. Bojan, a Balzan legend and all-time leading scorer, brings invaluable experience and a deep understanding of the club’s culture to his new role, where he will support Daryl Willard.
Additionally, Ramon Zammit has been appointed as Under-21 Coach while continuing his responsibilities as Head of Competitive Age Groups at the Balzan Academy. Etienne Vella will remain in charge of the non-competitive age groups, ensuring continuity and progress within the Academy’s structure.
Club President Anton Tagliaferro expressed his optimism, stating:
“It’s been a challenging start to the season due to some unforeseen circumstances, but I am very pleased to announce these coaching appointments, which establish a clear structure moving forward. I am confident that, by continuing to work well together, we will achieve our goal of a much stronger second half of the season.”
