Maltese Men’s Handball Team Competes in 2028 EHF Qualifiers

The Maltese Men’s Handball Team will compete this weekend in the 2028 European Handball Federation (EHF) Qualifiers. The tournament in Varna, Bulgaria, will see Malta face off against Great Britain, Bulgaria, and Cyprus.

A 19-player squad traveled to Varna yesterday, hoping to achieve results that could bring them closer to securing a place in the 2028 European Championship. The team is led by head coach David Ruch, assistant coach Joseph Tanti, and team manager Oliver Barriot.

The traveling squad includes the following players:
