This morning, at approximately 10:15 am, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Triq il-Fortizza tal-Mosta, Naxxar.
Preliminary investigations by the police revealed a collision involving a Vauxhall car, driven by a 45-year-old woman residing in Naxxar, and a Daelim motorcycle, driven by a 34-year-old man from Mosta.
The motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital via ambulance for further medical attention, and was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
