For the first time, the European Union is targeting a humanitarian aid budget of €1.9 billion to address the needs of over 300 million people in 2025.
The major allocations include €375 million for the Middle East, with a particular focus on Gaza, €140 million for Ukraine, and €510 million for Africa. Other funding will go toward crises in Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific. €295 million will be set aside for unforeseen emergencies.
The EU remains committed to global aid through robust monitoring and trusted partnerships.
