Yesterday evening, at around 6:00pm, police were alerted to a traffic accident on Rodolfu Street in Sliema.
Preliminary investigations revealed a collision between a Dacia Duster driven by a 47-year-old Filipino resident of Santa Venera and a Kymco Agility motorcycle ridden by a 51-year-old man from Sliema.
Medical assistance was promptly provided to the motorcyclist, who was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance for further medical care. Later, he was certified to have sustained serious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
