The Prime Minister truly has an arrogant and bloated cheek to accuse Karol Aquilina and others within the PN of “extremism,” all while the most corrupt man of 2019 travels the world with his diplomatic passport to engage in fraudulent events and shady business dealings. In his typical act as Supreme Leader, Robert Abela even brought back Rosianne Cutajar to the Labour Parliamentary group, but don’t tell him that runs a criminal organisation because he gets offended and all agitated.
If the Prime Minister is losing his composure, he would do better to embrace the rule of law and relinquish his authority over the Police and the Attorney General, rather than picking fights with some of the only MPs who genuinely make a difference.
It is obviously telling that Labour is attacking Karol Aquilina as part of an “extremist faction” within the PN. By doing so, Labour is publicly bragging about its preference for one faction over another: undoubtedly, Adrian Delia’s and Alex Borg’s faction, which are now working in unison. They are also working with Joseph Muscat’s faction. This should alarm PN supporters, as Labour is openly indicating which politicians within the Nationalist Party it favours.
