Brian Cini Qualifies for the World Amateur Snooker Championship Final

Maltese snooker player Brian Cini has secured his place in the World Amateur Snooker Championship final after delivering two dominant 4-0 victories in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals. He will now compete in the final on Saturday at 8 p.m. againstย  Chinaโ€™s Yang Gaoย  who defeated Northern Irelandโ€™s Fergal Quinn.

Quarter-Final Triumph

In the morning session, Cini displayed remarkable form, crushing Germanyโ€™s Umit Dikme 4-0. The German was given little opportunity to mount a challenge as Cini controlled the match with three impressive breaks of 72, 84, and 74 points. The frame scores were:

โœ… 96-42

Massive Semi-Final Victory

Later in the semi-final against Polandโ€™s Mateusz Baranowski, Cini maintained his relentless performance, securing another 4-0 whitewash. The frame scores were:

โœ… 66-56
โœ… 59-24

A key moment came in the third frame, where Baranowski took a 56-point lead, but Cini responded brilliantly with a break of 66 to overturn the deficit and win the frame.

Grand Snooker Final Awaits

Cini will now compete in the best-of-nine frames final on Saturday at 2 p.m., as he aims to clinch the prestigious World Amateur Snooker Championship title.
