Maltese snooker player Brian Cini has secured his place in the World Amateur Snooker Championship final after delivering two dominant 4-0 victories in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals. He will now compete in the final on Saturday at 8 p.m. againstย Chinaโs Yang Gaoย who defeated Northern Irelandโs Fergal Quinn.

In the morning session, Cini displayed remarkable form, crushing Germanyโs Umit Dikme 4-0. The German was given little opportunity to mount a challenge as Cini controlled the match with three impressive breaks of 72, 84, and 74 points. The frame scores were:
