Yesterday morning, four Maltese men were arrested in a police surveillance operation linked to drug trafficking at the Valletta bus terminal.
Following a search conducted by the police, officers found 45 packets of a substance suspected to be synthetic cannabis in their possession, allegedly prepared for distribution.
The four suspects, aged 53, 54, 55, and 56, are residents of Birลผebbuฤกa, Marsaskala, Marsa, and Tarxien, respectively. They are currently being held at the police lock-up in Floriana as investigations continue.
Later today, at around 9:15 am, two of the arrested individuals will be brought before Magistrate Kevan Azzopardi in court. They will face charges related to this case, among other accusations.
