UPDATE: Sweden school shooting: 11 dead in nation’s deadliest attack

The mass shooting at Campus Risbergska, an adult education centre in Örebro, Sweden, has left 11 dead, including the suspected gunman. Authorities say the attacker acted alone, and terrorism is not suspected.

The shooting was reported around 12:30 pm local time as students and staff fled the building. Witnesses described panic scenes as victims were carried from the building.

Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson described it as Sweden’s worst mass shooting and conveyed his deepest condolences.

Police continue to investigate the motive behind the attack.
