Germany heads to the polls: Conservatives first, Fascists second and Socialists third

Initial polls out of Germany indicate that the Christian Democratic Union will the general election with up to 30% of the vote. The Alternative for Germany is second with up to 20% of the vote and the Socialist Party third with around 15% of the vote. The Greens are following the Socialists with around 13% of the vote.

The CDU would be in charge of forming a coalition government.

Germany was hit by a disinformation wave yesterday, particularly on X.com, whose owner, Elon Musk, supports the AfD,ย suggesting various incidents of ballot stuffing and fraud.
