Starlites retain BOV Basketball 1st Division Knockout

Starlites retained the BOV Basketball 1st Division Knockout beating Hibernians 75-74 in the final.

In a very close and entertaining match, Starlites managed to win in the dying seconds of the game, not giving up when trailing Hibs by 10 points and managing to claw back the deficit and retain the title. Reddish-Rhรดne led Starlites’ scoring with 23 points whereas Hibernians’ Tederick Wolfe had 21 points.

Ernest Agius, Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta and Joseph Muscat, Secretary General of the Malta Basketball Association presented the BOV Basketball First Division Knockout Trophy to Starlites Captain Ian Felice Pace.

Starlites Benjamin Curran was voted BOV MVP of the final ending the game with 11 points, 19 rebounds, 3 steals and 5 assists.
