Ukrainian press reports state that U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered a halt to the remote support provided for radar jamming equipment on F-16s. Up to 100 F-16s were previously pledged by the Untied States and European countries to Ukraine but the actual number of F-16s delivered to Ukraine has never been disclosed. F-16s are regularly used in Ukraine for anti-air defenses.
More than a dozen of civilians have been killed in Ukraine by Russian missile and drone strikes against Ukrainian cities following the withdrawal of US military aid to Ukraine, which mostly included anti-air defenses. More missile and drone attacks happened last night. When asked about this decision to withdraw anti air defenses for Ukraine, President Trump said that her wants Ukraine “to settle”, implying once again that Ukraine should capitulate and cede its lost territory to Russia.
Evidence shows that President Trump has thrown a lifeline at Russia just before the Russian frontlines in Pokrovsk and Toretsk began to collapse.
Meanwhile, Russian press reports claiming that the Russian Army has re-captured Kursk have not been entirely accurate. Russian special forces attempted to launch a surprise attack in Kursk by infiltrating the Ukrainian lines through the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have stated that the Russians were detected before they could mount their attack and were swiftly eliminated.
