Fund Raising for The Maltese Herald

When the The Maltese Herald was born in October of last year, our dream was to create a major and intelligent Maltese newspaper that would compete with major and international media outlets.
Just five months on The Maltese Herald was featured in Newsweek and its international content is being used by institutions like The Atlantic Council and Wikipedia.
We were prepared for the challenges but didn’t expect such rapid success. This is all thanks to you readers who have kept supporting and reading us.
Unfortunately, our publishing and media ventures are not profitable. We are also subject to cyber-attacks and systematic discrimination by government entities. Building a business in these conditions is impossible but your support makes it possible. Only you and your support can make our success happen.
We appeal for your support right now. Subscriptions are still extremely low. Tens of thousands read us on a daily basis but we have yet so far collected only up to 270 subscriptions. This number is too low and needs to be raised at a minimum of 1000 subscribers to meet our basic financial requirements!
We are extremely far behind our financial targets. We encourage and appeal to you to support our work.
Going forward we urgently need a significant raise in capital to pay pending bills, survive, augment our resources, increase our content, buy new equipment and keep growing.
Only you can make it happen and we are relying on you right now at this moment.
