Man seriously injured in two-car collision in Birżebbuġa

Yesterday at around 5:45 pm, police were notified of a traffic accident on Triq Birżebbuġa, Birżebbuġa.

Preliminary investigations by the police revealed a collision between a Smart car driven by a 41-year-old man from Gudja and a Toyota Passo driven by a 36-year-old woman residing in Żabbar.

A medical team was called to assist, and the man was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to have sustained serious injuries.

Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
