A jet ski has caught fire in Saint Thomas Bay, Marsaskala around an hour ago. Video footage seen by The Maltese Herald shows the jet ski ablaze with persons attempting to throw it into the sea.

A team from the Civil Protection eventually put out the fire as can be seen in the video below. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Police investigations are ongoing.
