A 40-year-old Pakistani man tragically lost his life after falling from a height of approximately five storeys at a construction site.
The incident occurred on Friday at around 6:00 pm in Triq Salvu Astarita, Żabbar.
A medical team, along with members of the Civil Protection Department, were called to the site to assist, but the worker was unfortunately certified dead at the scene.
Magistrate Ian Farrugia has been informed of the case and has launched an inquiry. Investigations by the Police, in collaboration with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, are still underway.
