Friday afternoon, at around 3:30 pm, police were informed of a traffic accident on Triq l-Imġarr in the locality of Imġarr.
Officers arrived on site immediately, where preliminary investigations indicated that the collision involved a Toyota Starlet driven by a 54-year-old man from Mosta and a Honda motorcycle ridden by a 63-year-old man from Għarb.
A medical team was dispatched to the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to be in danger of losing his life.
Magistrate Ian Farrugia has been informed of the case and appointed an inquiry. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
