A 62-year-old man from Sliema was hospitalised on Monday morning following a traffic accident in Triq il-Kbira San Ġużepp, Ħamrun. The incident occurred at around 9:45 am.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the collision involved a Renault Captur, driven by a 54-year-old woman from Birżebbuġa, and a Lemoto Aura motorcycle, ridden by the victim.
The man received medical assistance on site before being transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the case are currently ongoing.
