At approximately 7:30 am. on Wednesday morning, police were alerted to a traffic accident along Xatt l-Għassara tal-Għeneb in Marsa.
Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that the collision involved a Ford Fiesta, driven by a 39-year-old man from Xgħajra, and a Honda motorcycle, ridden by a 35-year-old woman from Dingli.
A medical team was called to the site, and the woman was transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital, where she was certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
