The US press is currently running a story about Sergio Gor (actual name Sergey Gorokhovsky) about the fact that he has failed to declare his place of birth and also failed to be vetted before being appointed to work in President’s administration. Sergio Gor vets the government applications under President Donald Trump’s administration.
Press sources, including the Maltese press, previously claimed that Sergio Gor was born in Malta. The ongoing story about Sergio Gor was published by The New York Post but the source is from investigative reporter Brian Kerbs who studies cyber-criminals and organised crime.
The Maltese Herald can confirm that Sergio Gor was not born in Malta, but only lived in Malta when he was around 3 and 12 years old, from around 1989 to 1999. Sergio Gor was born in the Soviet Union. In Malta, he attended Saint Edward’s College in Cospicua (Bormla).
