A six year old boy has tragically lost his life after being found in a pool at a residence in Naxxar.
The incident occurred around 530pm when police were called for assistance by a family who noticed that the boy was missing. The family were in their private fields in St John Street in Naxxar.
An intense search began with the boy being found in a pool at another residence after an aerial drone spotted his body. He was rushed to hospital but unfortunately died shortly afterwards.
Duty magistrate Joe Mifsud is conducting an inquiry. Police investigations are ongoing.
