Yorgen Fenech is soon bound to face trial on charges of commissioning the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia. In a very timely manner coinciding with this historic event, Tumas Group has rolled out a very slick PR campaign with a focus on the alleged positive attributes of the family.
The propaganda campaign is featuring the associates of Tumas Group and thei board members who shower praise over the family. The group is also promoting the patriarch and founder of the business, Tumas Fenech as an individual who contributed to Malta’s development with a legitimate business.
Tumas Fenech started his business with an oversized loan against a small business which was facilitated to him by government contacts. Eventually, Tumas Fenech and the group built hotels and a casino business on the back of generous government public land deals.
