The new Nationalist Party: anti-woke and anti-EU

As soon after I published this article, someone sent me a link to this video below.

It pretty much encapsulates the risks with PN if Alex Borg becomes its leader. PN will become “anti-woke” and anti-EU.

It would be interesting to know what do they mean by being “anti-woke” as it has no clear definition and it is often used by the far-right as a derogatory term, but it is also used to express positions against gay rights, feminism and other civil liberties which today we take for granted. Surely they are against the decriminalisation of abortion.

Clint has his own party , I donโ€™t understand whatโ€™s heโ€™s trying to achieve with this video, pn leadership is only the business of pn , third parties should focus on themselves

Sure Im an old man now but honestly this is not european let alone Maltese.

If they want to ride the anti-woke train at least use the europeanised version. Better still get some inspiration from Italy.

This honestly I have no idea what this is.

Malta “hi my name is Charlie” version perhaps?

Over and out is basically the only thing they got right in my opinion

Come on, we all know what woke is and what being anti-woke is. For most people bar extremists it is not about being against gay rights and what not but rather against many of the extreme left and extreme trans ideology such as the attempts to indoctrine children with pro-LBTG books or drag queen story telling etc. Its against the covid extremists who called for restrictions, closures and mandatory mask wearing. Its against policies of inclusion which go to far. You get the picture.

I am 100% in favor of the rights for LGTB people to live their lives without discrimination, to not only be tolerated but accepted in the same way as the rest of society. But there are the few who give the rest a bad name. Most gay people don’t go around wearing rainbow colors or dying their hair blue or blowing their trumpets and waving their flags. They don’t even go to gay pride events.

Yep, that’s why they built concentration camps in Florida: to protect from inclusion policies that go too far.
