Malta’s rising star in artistic swimming, Zea Montfort, has successfully wrapped up her participation at the Junior Artistic Swimming European Championships 2025 with two strong performances in Istanbul, Turkey.
In the Women’s Solo Free Final, Zea delivered an elegant and confident routine, scoring 173.4802 points. Accompanied by her dedicated Head Coach Michelle Hubner, she represented Malta with grace and determination on the European stage.
This result came just a day after another notable performance, where Zea placed 10th in the Women’s Solo Technical event, earning 201.0501 points—a result that marks a significant achievement at this level of competition.
Zea’s participation was made possible thanks to SportMalta, through its International Participation Assistance Scheme, which supports local athletes in gaining international exposure and experience.
These performances reflect not only Zea’s dedication and growth in the sport but also Malta’s ongoing investment in developing talent within artistic swimming. The Aquatic Sports Association of Malta congratulates Zea and Coach Hubner on their accomplishments and looks forward to more international milestones in the near future.
