The Malta BMX Association brought the 2025 BMX Championships to an exciting close with the vibrant BMX Summer Fest, held at the Malta BMX Track in Pembroke. This final event marked the culmination of a season that kicked off in November 2024, drawing together riders, families, and fans for a high-energy celebration of youth sport.
The Summer Fest featured exhilarating races across multiple age categories, showcasing the talent, determination, and sportsmanship of Malta’s next generation of BMX athletes. This year’s champions are:

7–10 Years: Scott Saliba Balzia – Champion

10–13 Years: Lorenzo Baraggioli – Champion

Brodie Pace and Eddie Baraggioli placed second and third, respectively.

13+ Years: Simon Vella – Champion

Yashua Bonnett and Luca Mangion completed the podium in second and third place.

Organised under the leadership of Malta BMX President John Zammit and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, the BMX Summer Fest was not just a sporting event—it was a celebration of community, youth development, and Maltese BMX culture.
The festivities concluded with an award ceremony, during which President Zammit personally congratulated the winners and presented the trophies. The Malta BMX Association extends its sincere gratitude to all riders, parents, supporters, and volunteers for their enthusiasm and commitment throughout the season.
