Interviewed by Mark Laurence Zammit of Times of Malta, Adrian Delia and Alex Borg responded to questions about the latest book they read, their favourite film and the politician they admire the most. There was a very cringeworthy moment as Adrian Delia struggled to name a politician he admired and a book that he had read.
Alex Borg said that he admires Giorgia Meloni, while Adrian Delia struggled to remember a politician he admired as he searched his memory “from the times of Ghandi” ending with Margaret Tatcher. I would have asked him what politicians from “Ghandi’s times” does he admire, but Mark Laurence Zammit went easy on him.
None of them read any books and both of them were caught off guard with the question. Alex Borg said that the last book he read was Eddie Fenech Adami’s biography: this book came out years ago. Adrian Delia said that the last book he read was one by Gary Neville, which he has been reading for a couple of years.
Alex Borg said that his favourite film is The Diplomat, which is actually a series and was recently remade by Netflix, while while Adrian Delia’s favourite film is Braveheart.
Neither of them reads books or watches films. Most of their post-law school education consists mainly of social media drivel, TikTok clips, and now, AI-generated junk.
