A 70-year-old woman from Ħal Kirkop was seriously injured yesterday at around 5:00 p.m. following a traffic accident on Triq l-Imqabba, Mqabba.
Preliminary investigations indicate that, for unknown reasons, the woman lost control of the Kia Picanto she was driving and crashed into a pole.
A medical team provided assistance at the scene, and the woman was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where she was certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
