The BOV Summer League 2025 continued with a packed Match Day 9 across two days of intense water polo action at the National Pool Complex in Tal-Qroqq, where teams battled fiercely for points and bragging rights.

Tuesday, 15 July – Goals Galore and Narrow Finishes

The first day of Match Day 9 delivered high drama, including a nail-biting finish and dominant displays.

• Marsaskala (Optima Projects) 19-9 Barracudas
  Marsaskala maintained their strong form with a commanding 19-9 win over Barracudas. Their attacking prowess proved too much, controlling the game from start to finish.

• Otters (Nivea) 13-14 Marsaxlokk (MFF Ltd)
  One of the most gripping matches of the round saw Marsaxlokk edge past Otters by a single goal in a tense 14-13 victory. Otters fought valiantly, but Marsaxlokk held firm in the dying moments to claim all three points.

• Exiles (Welbee’s) 7-21 San Ġiljan (MAA Daikin)
