BOV Summer League delivers drama and goals on Match Day 11

Match Day 11 of the BOV Summer League 2025 produced another entertaining round of fixtures at the National Pool Complex in Tal-Qroqq, with high-scoring games and standout performances across both sessions on July 22 and 23.

Tuesday, 22 July

Otters registered a strong 17-13 victory over Ta’ Xbiex in a closely contested encounter. The Nivea-sponsored side proved more clinical in the final quarter to pull away for the win.

Sliema, backed by Frank Salt Real Estate, delivered a dominant display against Valletta, cruising to a 19-11 win. Valletta struggled to cope with Sliemaโ€™s relentless attack and now face a difficult route back into form.

Sirens Build Fitness claimed a solid 15-10 win over Exiles Welbeeโ€™s in the final game of the day. Sirens showed their superiority in the second half, outscoring Exiles after a balanced start.

Wednesday, 23 July

Birลผebbuฤกa made light work of Barracudas in the opening match, securing a convincing 13-4 victory. Their defensive organization limited Barracudas to just four goals while applying consistent offensive pressure.

In one of the most entertaining matches of the day, Marsaxlokk MFF Ltd edged past Marsaskala Optima Projects 22-15. Both teams engaged in an end-to-end battle, but Marsaxlokk had the edge in transition and finishing.

The final game saw San ฤ iljan MAA Daikin defeat Neptunes Best Gyms Malta 16-13 in a tight encounter between title hopefuls. San ฤ iljan proved more composed in crucial moments to seal the three-goal win.
