Yesterday at around 8:15 a.m., police were alerted to a traffic accident in Triq Tal-Barrani, Żejtun.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the collision involved two motorcycles: a Peugeot Tweet, ridden by a 66-year-old man from Ħaż-Żabbar, and a Kawasaki, ridden by a 30-year-old woman from Marsaxlokk.
A medical team was called to the scene, and both riders were taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment. The man was later certified to be in critical condition, while the woman was found to have sustained serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
