The friends of ex-Judge Carol Peralta at Alex Borg’s meeting

Ex-Judge Carol Peralta was not alone at Alex Borg’s meeting. He was accompanied by his partner, Moira Abela who was sitting right next to him. This is of particular interest because Moira Abela’s daughter was engaged as a prosecutor by the Office of the Attorney-General during recent engagements under the Labour administration.

Sitting next to Moira Abela, is Robert Cardona, the cousin of Chris Cardona and a forensic expert engaged by the Courts. Apparently, Robert Cardona and Carol Peralta are very close friends.

Of course, there is nothing untoward implied in all of this, and I even withheld the name of the Prosecutor in question, but it is of significant interest to know who are the well-connected individuals following Alex Borg’s leadership campaign for the PN along with a Freemason ex-Judge. Alex Borg is suspected of being supported by shadow business interests that are supporting both Labour and PN ever since he pronounced his position on Fort Chambray.

Carol Peralta, who is Konrad Mizzi’s lawyer is known to have extensive connections with many individuals associated with the Labour Party. Those claiming Iโ€™m wrong for implying that Carol Peralta supports Alex Borg by attending his political meeting should have checked the reference link. We had already reported a year ago that Carol Peralta was backing Alex Borgโ€™s political ambitions.

So Alex Borg is the golden boy of the Freemasons and hardly anyone batters an eyelid.
If Delia isnโ€™t a Freemason, he isnโ€™t far from them at all, through his close network.
So whoever wins the leadership race, effectively, the Freemasons have direct but invisible influence, if not control, over the leader of the opposition and PN.
So the PN will be led by someone who effectively represents special interest groups in a covert way rather than the partyโ€™s executive and tesserati and grassroots followers.
This is very bad news for Malta and its future.
