Just as we reported more than a year ago, Carol Peralta, the Freemason and ex-Judge is supporting Alex Borg in his PN leadership bid. He was spotted at one of his meetings looking inconspicuously in the centre of the crowd but an eagled-eyed witness recognised him immediately.
That Carol Peralta may be supporting Alex Borg could raise suspicions that Alex Borg is being supported by shadow business interests that also support the Labour Party, and this explains Alex Borg’s position on Fort Chambray. Carol Peralta is Konrad Mizi’s lawyer and has close connections with several businesses associated with the Labour Party. Carol Peralta is also a Freemason. Some Labour Party members also suspect that Alex Borg may have collaborated with some Labour Party individuals as Alex Borg leaked reports to ONE about Bernard Grech.
Previously, Carol Peralta was a supporter of Adrian Delia but as of last year he began supporting Alex Borg.
Note that Carol Peralta is a member of a Freemason group that is distinct from the infamous Sovereign Grand Lodge of Malta that is run by the outgoing Freemason Chief Simon Cusens.
