Ħamrun Spartans’ fixture rescheduled as Malta Premier League confirms matchday details and ticket prices

Ħamrun Spartans will kick off their YoHealth Malta Premier League campaign on Sunday, 17 August, following a fixture rescheduling request due to their UEFA club competition commitments.

Originally slated for Monday, 18 August, their Match Week 1 encounter against Tarxien Rainbows has now been moved forward to Sunday at 21:00h at the Tony Bezzina Stadium. The request by Ħamrun Spartans was accepted by Tarxien Rainbows, and subsequently approved by the Malta Premier League (MPL).

As a result, the only remaining fixture on Monday — Hibernians vs Gżira United — has been brought forward to a 19:00h kick-off on the same day, also at the Tony Bezzina Stadium.
