FIFA Beach Soccer referee Stefania Bonnici recently took part in the Euro Beach Soccer League, held in Castellammare di Stabia, Naples, Italy, from July 25 to 27, 2025.
Over the course of the tournament, Bonnici officiated seven matches, showcasing her versatility and experience. She served as Referee 2 in two high-profile women’s matches: Netherlands vs Italy and Italy vs Portugal. She also took charge as Referee 1 in the menโs clash between Switzerland and Latvia.
In addition to these roles, she contributed as Timekeeper for two matches and served as Referee 3 in two others.
The tournament featured a strong lineup of teams: eight nations competed in Division A and four in Division B of the menโs category, while the womenโs tournament included four national teams. Malta participated in Division B of the menโs competition.
Bonniciโs involvement in multiple key matches further highlights her growing presence and recognition in international beach soccer officiating.
