Malta Further & Higher Education Authority revokes licenses of two entities

The Malta Further & Higher Education Authority has revoked the licences of two educational institutions in Malta: the International European University and ICOM International. ICOM International’s licence will be terminated once its students complete their pending re-sits. The termination came following a review of their courses and their operations through an External Quality Assurance Audit.

Malta has recently seen a rise in the registration of low-quality and even fake educational institutions, which are increasingly exploiting the country’s position as a hub for international students, particularly those from outside Europe.
